During the International Year of Biodiversity 2010, the Museum of Sciences, in collaboration with the Botanical Garden of the University of Coimbra, is organizing a series of conferences on biodiversity addressed at the general public. Thus, monthly, several scientists will be invited to address different themes related with the factors affecting biodiversity and the challenges to its conservation.

In this context, on September 23, Habitat Lince Abutre LIFE project was presented to an audience of about 30 participants, to whom its objectives and actions in progress were described.
